Indian coffee

The Coffee Officina, the on-line coffee workshop and roastery, is offering a new single-origin coffee from the family-run Ratnagiri Estate situated on the top of a mountain range in the South Western Ghats of India. Ratnagiri has official Rainforest Alliance Certification and apart from producing a distinctive coffee with red berry notes and a rich caramel aroma, is also home to 48 species of birds, monkeys, leopards, wild boar and the occasional elephant.

Cooking in Sicily

The Thinking Traveller is hosting a Sicilian cookery course based at Rocca delle Tre Contrade, their 12-bedroom villa situated on Sicily’s east coast between Mount Etna and the Ionian sea. Michelin-starred chef Merlin Labron-Johnson and Master of Wine, Isabelle Legeron, will run a series of cookery demos and tastings of Mount Etna wines. The course will include visits to local food markets and vineyard tours as well as time to relax in the villa’s outdoor heated swimming pool.
